1.Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets out what you may not do with Aiome. It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to every customer and every User of a workspace.
Aiome is a workplace tool. Use it to run your team. Do not use it to break the law, harm people, or damage the Service for everyone else. If you are a customer, you are responsible for what your Users do here.
You are responsible for your Users' compliance with this AUP, and for ensuring that your use complies with the laws of every jurisdiction where your personnel are located.
2.Prohibited content
You may not store, transmit, or share content through Aiome that:
- is unlawful, or that promotes or facilitates unlawful activity;
- infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity, or other right;
- sexually exploits or endangers a minor, or constitutes child sexual abuse material;
- is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or that incites violence or hatred against any person or group;
- contains viruses, worms, ransomware, or other malicious code;
- you do not have the right to submit, or that you are contractually or legally barred from disclosing; or
- consists of protected health information subject to HIPAA, payment card data subject to PCI DSS, or government-classified information — the Service is not designed for these and you must not submit them without a prior written agreement with us.
3.Prohibited conduct
You may not:
- impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with one;
- harass, bully, stalk, or intimidate any person, whether a member of your workspace or not;
- resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as a service bureau, except as expressly permitted;
- use the Service to build or benchmark a competing product, or to copy its features or design;
- share a single Seat between multiple people, or otherwise circumvent Seat-based pricing or plan limits;
- create accounts by automated means, or create multiple accounts to evade limits, suspensions, or terminations;
- use the Service in violation of export control or sanctions laws; or
- use the Service in any way that violates applicable employment, privacy, or workplace law.
4.Security and system integrity
You may not:
- access, or attempt to access, any account, workspace, data, or system you are not authorized to access;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measure, except as expressly permitted under Section 7;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by overloading, flooding, or denial-of-service attack;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service, except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by law;
- scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service by automated means without our written permission; or
- remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notice.
5.Workplace monitoring and employee data
Aiome is not surveillance software, and we will not allow it to be used as such. Our time tracking records start and stop times only — it does not take screenshots, capture location, log keystrokes, or measure activity levels. We built it that way deliberately.
Because Aiome holds employee data, you may not use it to:
- monitor your personnel in a manner that is unlawful in their jurisdiction, or without any notice or consent their local law requires;
- collect information about a person's health, disability, pregnancy, religion, sexual orientation, immigration status, union membership, or political opinions, other than where you have a lawful basis and have told them — this includes soliciting medical detail through free-text fields such as leave request notes;
- covertly record or intercept communications where doing so is unlawful;
- circumvent works council, trade union, or employee representative consultation requirements that apply to you; or
- take an adverse employment action against a person in a manner that violates applicable law.
As the controller of the data in your workspace, these obligations are yours, not ours. We provide the tool and the controls; the lawful use of them is your responsibility. See our Data Processing Addendum.
6.Messaging, email, and notifications
You may not use Aiome, or any email or notification it sends, to:
- send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, chain letters, or pyramid schemes;
- send messages to people who have not consented to receive them, where consent is required;
- falsify message headers or sender identity, or otherwise disguise the origin of a message; or
- send phishing messages or otherwise attempt to obtain credentials or sensitive information by deception.
Workspace invitations may be sent only to people you have a genuine working relationship with and who would reasonably expect to receive one. Repeated invitations to people who ignore or decline them are treated as spam.
7.Reporting a violation or vulnerability
To report abuse — content or conduct violating this AUP — contact us at aiome.io/contact or [email protected] with enough detail to let us investigate. We review every report.
To report a security vulnerability, contact us at the same address with a description and reproduction steps. We will not pursue legal action against researchers who act in good faith, avoid privacy violations and service disruption, access only the minimum data necessary to demonstrate the issue, do not exfiltrate or retain customer data, and give us reasonable time to remediate before public disclosure. Please do not test against another customer's workspace — create your own free workspace to test against.
8.How we enforce this
We investigate suspected violations and may take action proportionate to what we find, including issuing a warning, removing content, restricting a feature, suspending a User or workspace, or terminating the account.
Where it is practical and lawful, we will notify you first and give you an opportunity to fix the problem before suspending or terminating. Where the risk is severe — ongoing harm to a person, an active security threat, unlawful content, or a legal requirement — we may act immediately and notify you promptly afterwards.
We may report unlawful activity to law enforcement where we are required to do so or where we believe in good faith it is necessary to prevent harm.
No refunds are given for accounts terminated for violating this AUP. Nothing here limits any other right or remedy available to us under the Terms of Service or at law.
We may update this AUP as the Service changes and as new forms of abuse appear. Material changes are notified under Section 17 of the Terms of Service.
