Threads keep a channel readable
Any message opens its own panel beside the channel, and the channel shows how many replies it has picked up.
Reply inline when you only need to answer one point, and the person you answered sees it marked.
React with any emoji, edit or delete your own messages, and attach files, images or a video link that plays in place.
Mentions that reach the work
Type @ and the menu offers teammates, tasks, projects, SOPs and SOP folders together.
Click one in a sent message and the real record opens — no pasted URLs, no "which doc did you mean".
Being mentioned marks the message, adds a count to the channel and raises a notification.

No. Chat is part of the platform on every plan. Free covers up to 3 people and one channel; Business is $19 per seat per month with unlimited channels and seats.
Admins and managers create channels and categories, rename them, set who can see a private one, and delete them. Everyone else can post in any channel they can see and start their own conversations.
The rule lives in the database, not the app. A channel you don't have access to is never sent to your browser in the first place — and that holds for managers and admins too.
